Through music, cultural events and shared experiences, we celebrate diversity, connect people across generations and create a stronger sense of belonging, building inclusive and vibrant communities where everyone feels valued.

BIWIB "I Am Fine" Webinar Opens Up Important Conversations About Wellbeing As part of its ongoing commitment to promoting well-being, inclusion, and women’s empowerment, Black and Interracial Women in Bradford (BIWIB) hosted an online webinar titled "I Am Fine" on 18 October 2026. The one-hour session brought women together in a supportive and reflective space to explore a phrase many people use every day, "I'm fine", and the emotions, challenges, and experiences that can sometimes remain hidden behind those words. Facilitated by Dr. Shalom Mojere, Founder of Purpose in Pain Initiative CIC, the webinar encouraged honest conversations about emotional well-being, resilience, self-awareness, and the importance of seeking support when needed.

Participants were given the opportunity to reflect on their personal experiences, share insights, and connect with others in a safe and understanding environment.

The session highlighted the importance of creating spaces where women feel heard, valued, and supported, particularly when navigating life's challenges.

Through open dialogue and shared experiences, attendees were reminded that well-being extends beyond physical health and includes emotional, mental, and social well-being.

The "I Am Fine" webinar forms part of BIWIB's wider programme of well-being initiatives designed to strengthen community connections, promote positive mental health, and empower women through learning, support, and meaningful engagement.

By addressing real-life issues and encouraging authentic conversations, BIWIB continues to create opportunities that help women build confidence, resilience, and stronger support networks while fostering a sense of belonging across diverse communities.
